The Times of Israel is liveblogging events as they unfold through Thursday, the tenth day of Operation Protective Edge. Ceasefire efforts seem to be gathering pace — with Israeli, PA and other delegations in Cairo — even as Hamas spokesmen insist there will be no compromising on its demands, and Israel vows that this conflict can only end with longterm calm restored for Israel.
